Halloween treats!

From those fine folk at Firebox, may I present...
...Yummy Dough! Like Play-Doh, but edible! Just shape it, bake it and eat it - hurrah! Priced at £7.99 and guaranteeing hours of fun for kids of all ages...
'A Zombie Ate my Cupcake' recipe book containing 25 utterly bizarre ideas inspired by dismembered body parts, roadkill, blood and guts! Priced at £9.99
Sweet and slightly sinister pumpkin flying lanterns...£14.99 for a pack of four
And finally, my personal favourite...I am dying (ho ho...) to get my hands on these! Creepy, moving haunted portraits, priced at £6.99 each.

All in all, thoroughly spooktacular! *groan*

Bone china...

See what I did there?! Ho ho. Anyways, if you fancy eating off some suitably creepy crockery this Halloween then look no further than RE. You can find the set in the suitably named MacabRE section...

Introducing The Baseballs...

On Tuesday night, I ventured to Brum to see these fine fellows who, it would seem, are flying well under the radar of pretty much everyone else I know! Tut tut. This must be rectified immediately because this band is probably the best live act I have ever seen - blimey, can they hold a tune! Now, whilst I am a self-confessed 1950s throwback, I know that rockabilly isn't everyone's cup of rosy lee, but throw in some pelvis action à la Elvis and a spontaneously combusting piano and what more you do you need?! Perhaps a gratuitous shot of my favourite 'Baseball'...*swoon*

Time for tea...

Oh, Next, you wee scamp, always tempting me with your lovely, shiny, new things...
How adorable is this wall plaque? And only £7 too...*sighs*

Halloweeeeeeeen...

Unsurprisingly, I love Halloween. Almost as much as I love Christmas...in fact, maybe even more?! Any excuse for dressing up, tee hee! So, between now and the 31st October, you can expect lots of skulls, skeletons, ghouls and ghosts popping up all over this blog! Catching my eye this week:
If you have money to burn (quite literally...), then may I present to you this rather wonderful Memento Mori wax skull candle by D.L. & Co. (their website is well worth a look-see, how can you fail to love a brand that markets itself as "modern alchemists and purveyors of curious goods"?!). I warn you now, it is from Selfridges and therefore costs the eye-watering sum of £73...*cue sharp intake of breath* I'm sure that you could create something equally as magnificent DIY-stylee if, unlike me, you have the time and the patience for candle-making...
If not, a similar candle in a more realistic white shade can be purchased from these fine purveyors of all things candle-tastic. Even better, however, is their spine candle which is perhaps the most awesome thing I have ever laid my eyes upon.
Priced at £20 each, you can buy both and still be quids in...huzzah!

Obsessed, much?!

Yeah...maybe just a tad. So my embargo on buying any more Christmas decorations lasted a whole two days. Well done me! Still, I *love* Christmas and how happy was I when I discovered Debenhams selling these uber-cute candy cane decorations?! VERY!!!! All is now well in the world...

Love and hate...

If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be a big, beefy biker or perhaps a salty seadog of a sailor, now you can indulge your innermost fantasies with these rather nifty oven gloves from Berry Red...the chains are even printed in metallic gold. Blingalicious!

Having a Mad Men moment...

I saw this dress on the Next website and instantly fell in love! I love it's retro shape (although I doubt it will give me Christina Hendricks' killer curves...), but I have to confess, I'm not too sure about the colour...what do you think? Is it a yay or a nay?

Oh, Gisela...

Here's a peek at some bits and pieces from Gisela Graham's new Christmas collection, plus a few oldies from last year...*swoons* Must. Resist. The. Urge. To. Buy. Any. More. Crimbo. Decorations. Damn yooooooou, Gisela!
